For more than 2.000 years of Alexander the Great, excited the imagination of people around the world. Barely out of adolescence, he invaded Asia with some 45,000 men to conquer a vast and rich Persian Empire. He did not stop and continued on an epic journey 22,000 miles, Troy to Alexandria, Samarkand to Babylon. By the time he died, aged just 32, he went beyond the known world, carving out an empire stretching from Greece to Afghanistan, Israel to India.
Today you can find his legacy still resonates on three continents - Europe, Asia and Africa. Head of Egypt, venture into the desert into an oasis Siwah, a large circle of bright green sea of dried yellow, and you will find the crumbling temple where the oracle proclaimed Alexander the son of Zeus. Way in southern Iran, and you'll find Persepolis, destroyed by a solemn capital of the Persian kings, was burned by Alexander.

Step in the Archaeological Museum of Istanbul, and a miracle in one of the best parts of the skill of the ancient world. It's not personal tomb of Alexander, but instead belonged to a subordinate. On each side of the grave you will find Alexander carved in glittering white marble, rode on hunting and educating his Bucephalas horse.
Walk the marble streets of Ephesus
Explore the capital of the Roman province of Asia, now one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world. Century excavations by Austrian archaeologists revealed so much to see: from private villas to luxurious baths, a theater for the 28000 and extraordinary library.
Sail Lycian Shore
A look at the Turquoise Coast of Turkey, as you cruise aboard a traditional Turkish Gulet. Under the soaring pine clad mountains you will relax in luxury, reflecting on the Navy of Alexander and ancient pirates. Moore and disembark at Phaselis, where Alexander was crowned with golden wreaths.
